Life As A New^man

Chili  is ALWAYS luring me into these awesome sites -due to their giveaways but the I just get hooked! 6 MONTHS! 6 and a half... whatever:) Ashtyn is getting so big and growing so fast            she's now a whopping 14lbs -yep still tiny! and 26 inches long! of course being one of our babies  she has a big round head -17 inches  -adorable! She started some solids Found and fell in love with her feet     Grew even bigger jowls :)    And is mastering sitting up!

Friday night the boys had a sitter for a little bit while Cole and I went to the high school's baseball team banquet; she did a couple REALLY CUTE crafts with them, paper easter baskets and paper bag bunnies -anyway Grey peeled the eyes off his bunny this morning so we found something else to do with them... *DISCLAIMER* This post is NOT meant to offend or seem sacrilegious in anyway -the only songs my kids know are primary ones :) LAW

GREY ASHTYN even COLE joined! why does it take forever to upload ONE video!?  why can't I just upload them all together?!

MY THREE MUSKETEERS I love these babies!

GREEN St. Patty's Day was great this year :) We got dressed in our greens  Had green eggs with ham, green toast, and green milk for breakfast      Did a little face painting -I'm no artist       Remember doing this craft in school?  Law Loved it and did a great job too!     Grey... not so much :)   I'll admit we went a little sweets crazy we made green spritz clover cookies and green sugar cookies -with green frosting and green sprinkles of course because what better way to eat sugar than top it with more sugar?! ;) And for dinner we made corned beef and cabbage! I was so proud of myself for making it only to find out  -Cole HATES it! hahaha oh well maybe next year green pizza? Hope you all had a great holiday!

I can't believe he's turned 4! 4 is not that old but still I HAVE A FOUR-YEAR-OLD!?  Crazier than that -he'll be going to pre-school this fall!?!? I know most people are sending their kids at 3 these days but come on! How do you know a good school, a good teacher, will he be safe, will he make friends, will people understand him, will he be made fun of, will he want to be home, will he struggle, will he be bossy, will he listen to the teacher?  I'm freaking out I'll be completely honest I had a major anxiety attack about it last night  major.anxiety to the point of being that creepy mom in love you forever -let's be honest -cute in theory CREEPY IN REALITY! Come on he's a grown man his mom uses a ladder to climb into his window crawls across the floor and rocks him while he sleeps?! They make horror films with less creepy characters than this woman! I love people in my life with that amazing attitude -you know the ones that people say "well they just don't have any problems" or "their head is in the clouds (lala land or whatever!)" HELLO!! They  are  people aren't they?! They have problems! They are  not  stupid! They have the amazing ability to smile through trials and shine in their tribulations!   I LOVE IT!!! LOVE.IT. unfortunately I was not blessed with that same gift BUT that's the great thing it can be acquired! :)  So I have every intention of doing my best to love more and smile always after all I don't think you should just endure life, you should endure it well :)

HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE WAKING UP WHEN THIS IS WHO GREETS YOU?! She is just so excited about everyday in life and I love/admire her for it! When I grow up I want to be like Ashtyn!

Ok so obviously we weren't really in Italy  -I got this cute idea from  The Dating Divas   so I thought we'd give it a try :)  Check list: 1: Cute invitation to delivery to your Italian Stallion 2: YUMMY Italian cuisine 3: the arts  A-each of you draw what you imagine Italy to look like -then share B-each of you mold something that resembles or symbolizes the other 4: watch a foreign film -or just The Italian Job :)  So we had dinner with the kids got them off to bed and started our night which turned out to be -well, interesting hahaha. We drew pictures of Italy here is Cole's Super cute right?! That's us kissing on a gondola -awesome! THEN IT CAME TO THE CLAY ok here's mine- It's Cole holding a rifle -is there any other way to depict a Newman boy? HERE'S COLE'S- SERIOUSLY!!??? *%$# Yeah go ahead and laugh if you want but I was a little less than amused. We had italian cream sodas and popcorn and watched the Italian job :) HOORAY for trying to spice up

We had Grey's B-day planned all out with great fun things to do -I mean how often does a kid turn two?! Well unfortunately I was still on my death bed and he was also starting to get sick so we had to improvise  - Cole had to improvise  And he did such an amazing job! From decorations to pizza and cake he had Grey's bday down pat! We all had a great time I'm so glad Cole was here to take over! Birthdays mean so much to me so I'm so glad he could make it a great day for Grey! I love Grey he is a super happy boy! He's become SUPER independent and is often saying  "No - IIIII do it!"  which is hard for me because I still want him to be my baby boy oh well I guess they've gotta grow up sometime so I'll just enjoy the ride :')

I just couldn't help it he was so excited and wanted it so bad -he even offered to pay with his own pretend money! So that's what we're having for lunch today  I definitely don't endorse buying your kids whatever they ask for  but I figured this time it wouldn't hurt so bad -however the real hot-air balloon, motorcycle, and helicopter will have to wait :)  I love Law!
